LowkeyGenius — Privacy Policy

LowkeyGenius does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. The app has no server of its own, and nothing you do in it is sent anywhere.

What the app stores, and where

Everything the app remembers is stored only on your own device, in your browser or app storage. That includes:

• The handle you chose, and your trophies, level and match record
• Your match history and your answer to each question, used to work out which topics you are strongest and weakest in
• Your daily challenge streak and scores
• Challenge codes you have sent or received
• Your settings, such as whether sound is on

None of this leaves the device. It is not backed up to us, because there is no “us” to back it up to. Deleting the app, or using Reset profile inside it, erases this information permanently — there is no copy anywhere else, so it cannot be recovered.

What the app does not do

• No analytics or usage tracking of any kind
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
• No crash or error reporting
• No third-party trackers or software development kits
• No location, contacts, camera, microphone or file access
• No email address, name, age or any other personal detail is ever requested

The questions, fonts and sounds all ship inside the app itself, so it works completely offline and makes no network requests to run.

Notifications

If you allow them, the app can remind you that the daily challenge is ready or that a streak is about to lapse. These reminders are scheduled by your own device against its own clock. No push service is used, no notification is sent from a server, and nothing about you is shared in order to deliver one.

Purchases

The app offers one optional purchase, which removes the daily limit on practice sets. The transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or receive your name, payment details, or billing address. The app asks Google Play only whether this device’s account owns that product, and stores the yes-or-no answer locally.

Google’s handling of the payment is governed by its own privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

LowkeyGenius is a study tool intended for high-school students preparing for college entrance exams, and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

Rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data — under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or any similar law — apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. Everything the app knows is on your device and under your control: you can view it inside the app and erase all of it at any time with Reset profile, or by uninstalling.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Any change that meant the app started collecting data would be announced in the app itself before it took effect.
